Itinerary

Day 1: Bishkek 

Arrive in Bishkek and explore Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic, Manas Statue, Victory Square, and the bustling Osh Bazaar. After lunch, visit Ala-Archa National Park for a short hike before returning to Bishkek for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Bishkek - Son Kol lake 

Drive to Son Kol  Lake (400 km), stopping for lunch in Kochkor village. Arrive at Son Kol  (3016 m) in the afternoon to see shepherds' camps and yurts. Taste kymyz (fermented mare's milk) and other local treats. Overnight in a yurt.

Day 3: Son Kol Lake

Enjoy a relaxing day at Son Kol . Go horseback riding, experience nomadic life, and taste local food. Spend another night in a yurt under the stars.

Day 4: Son Kol – Naryn – Tash Rabat 

Transfer to Naryn, a town nestled between steep cliffs and the Naryn River. After lunch in the cafe, proceed to Tash-Rabat (115 km), near the Chinese border, where the ancient Caravan Saray from the 11th century stands as a testament to the Silk Road era. The night is spent in traditional yurts.

Day 5: Tash-Rabat – Kochkor

Spend a relaxing morning in Tash-Rabat. After lunch, drive to Kochkor (265 km) and learn how felt carpets (ala kiyiz) are made. Enjoy dinner, a folklore show, and an overnight stay with a Kyrgyz family.

Day 6: Kochkor – Burana Tower - Bishkek 

Transfer to Bishkek, with a pause at the historic Burana Tower, remnants of the ancient city Balasagyn. It’s a treasure on the Great Silk Road dating back to the 10th - 11th century. The afternoon in Bishkek is free for personal exploration, with a farewell dinner in a restaurant and an overnight stay in the city.

Day 7: Bishkek – Departure

Conclude the journey with a transfer to the airport (30 km) for departure, carrying cherished memories of Kyrgyzstan's valleys and mountains.
